Unleash the unlimited potential of design as a powerful communication tool. Through the theoretical components of the course, students analyse existing visual communications, examining how the design process has been used in Communication, Environmental and Industrial Design.

Practical work provides opportunities to explore the design process first-hand.

For Units 3 and 4, students complete School-Assessed Coursework (25%), a School-Assessed Task (40%), and an end-of-year written examination (35%).

Using the Victorian Assessment Software System (VASS), a student is enrolled in each of their subjects with both (a) a home school and (b) an assessing school.
