Haileybury Pangea's flexible online program allows students to study a VCE subject outside of their regular school timetable. Choose from Algorithmics (Units 3 and 4), Australian History (Units 3 and 4), Economics (Units 1-4) or Latin (Units 1-4) and gain access to subjects that may not be available at your school. Yes, we offer over 20 VCE subjects which can be studied as a single subject online in addition to studying at your main school.
Students wishing to undertake between 1-3 VCE courses with Haileybury Pangea as their home school may be eligible for the part-time VCE pathway. It is important to note that students commencing with Haileybury Pangea must be no older than 18 years at the start of the academic year.
Haileybury Pangea full-time and part-time students have access to our Careers program and personalised support from Careers counsellors.
Students undertaking a VCE course at Haileybury Pangea have two 50-minute live lessons each week, typically a double lesson.
These may take place during the school day or after school hours; we thus encourage students undertaking a VCE Single Subject with Haileybury Pangea to discuss this with their home school liaison (such as a VCE Coordinator) to ensure that appropriate arrangements can be made for the student to attend these live virtual lessons.
In 2024, 24% of Haileybury Pangea's Year 12 students attained an ATAR of 95 and above, placing them in the top 5% of students in Australia.
Furthermore, 44% of our students achieved an ATAR of 90 or above, which places them in the top 10% of students across Australia/
Overall, a strong 92% of Year 12 students in 2024 achieved VCE results that placed them in the top 40% of students in Australia.

Students who enrol in a VCE Single Subject also have the option to commence their studies with Haileybury Pangea in Term 1A in mid-November. Students can also commence their studies from the start of the academic year in January.
