Part-time VCE program requirements

  • Students enrolled in the part-time VCE pathway at Haileybury Pangea can study between 1–3 subjects at a time.
  • For part-time students, Haileybury Pangea is the home school according to the VCAA, meaning that they are not enrolled at another school.
  • All part-time students at Haileybury Pangea participate in the full spectrum of school life, including tutorials, assemblies and special programs.
  • Part-time students must attend an approved examination centre – typically a Haileybury campus - to complete the General Achievement Test and VCE Units 3 and 4 examinations.
  • Students commencing with Haileybury Pangea must be no older than 18 years on the first day of the academic year.

How do students complete VCE SACS/Exams?

At the time of exams and SACS, students will be notified which location they can attend to complete them.

How does a subject run?

Haileybury Pangea offers 2-3 periods of live lessons per subject per week. This is complemented by self-paced work. Students will be able to access their teacher for support outside of lesson time.

Are lessons recorded so students can go back and revisit them later?

All classes are live and compulsory to attend. If you are absent, your parent/guardian must notify the School. Key instruction will be available as part of the self-paced learning to be completed in your own time.
