Discover the world of cyber security with Haileybury Pangea's one-week Digital Defenders course, designed for students in Years 8–10. Through engaging, real-world challenges and expert-led learning, students will explore how cyber security professionals protect information, identify threats and respond to digital risks in an increasingly connected world.

Co-designed with industry experts from Cyber CX and delivered through a blended online model, students will participate in live interactive sessions and complete structured self-paced activities that develop practical skills, critical thinking and digital confidence. Students will investigate real cyber scenarios, learn how to think like a cyber security professional and gain insight into future pathways in this fast-growing field.

What students will learn:
  • How cyber attacks commonly happen and how to spot red flags
  • Core protection habits: secure accounts, safer browsing, privacy settings, and digital footprints
  • How to respond to incidents: reporting, evidence, recovery steps, and prevention
  • Team-based cyber thinking: risk, ethics, and pathways into future study and careers.
