Overview

Politics is the study of national and international issues to help students understand their place in the world. The issues studied are contemporary and constantly evolving and students will have flexibility to study particular areas that interest them. Students learn how to be criticalconsumers of a variety of media and gain an understanding of leadership, power and national interests. Students bring a broad cross-section of sympathies and opinions into Politics classes, so discussion and debate is lively yet evidence based.
